Here are some names and descriptions of other campus ministries at Boise State. We love to serve and work together. Although we are different groups, we all have the same goal of knowing and teaching Jesus Christ. Some groups may be found using the the Center building, at various times, for some of their events – they would all love for you to come visit.
The Biblical Studies Center (The Center) offers accredited bible classes that may be transferred to other universities, including Boise State. In addition The Center also seeks to provide an environment where God’s love my be shared by hosting events for other groups, providing free lunch on Thursdays, and having a recreational area for students to hang out and play games. BSUCRU is an interdenominational Christian organization made up of BSU students from many different backgrounds who seek to understand who God is, who we are, and why we are here on Earth. Campus Bible Fellowship seeks to meet the challenge of campus life through offering a wide variety of activities and events. They do this through teaching of the Bible and through developing meaningful relationships that encourage spiritual growth. Engage Truth; Too often “Religion” can distract people from their spiritual search. Even the word church is enough to make people cringe. GCB Downtown is an unconventional environment for students to prioritize their relationship with Christ, influence their friends, and experience personal growth. Impact Ministries (IMI) is about impacting the university campus and the world for Jesus. IMI measures success in terms of developing intimacy with God. They believe that an individual who is developing intimacy with God will make an impact for the Kingdom of God. International Students Inc. (ISI) exists to share Christ’s love with international students and to equip them for effective service in cooperation with the local church and others. The two main outreaches are, Friendship Family program within which they match an international with an American Family (training is available), and Talk Time Language and Culture Club which is loosely based on a conversational English class. Inter-Varsity Christian Fellowship is a nondenominational Christian ministry on college and university campuses. They build witnessing communities of Students and faculty who grow in love for God and learn to serve him in the world. St. Paul’s Catholic Center is a Roman Catholic community serving Boise State University Students and staff through worship, study, social activities, and service.
